
Merryn Maynard
Senior Specialist in Social Impact and Research, Maple Leaf Centre for Food Security
Merryn is responsible for research, evaluation, and learning about the impact of the Centre’s efforts, as well as supporting partnerships, communications and administration. Merryn has worked on the issue of food insecurity within public, academic and non-profit organizations in Canada, most recently with the national youth charity Meal Exchange. Merryn has served on the Toronto Youth Food Policy Council and is currently a 2022-23 Action Canada Fellow. Merryn holds a Master of Science degree from the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University.
